Utilities are not fully included in the rent. While residents are responsible for paying the electricity and Wi-Fi bills, all other utilities are included in the monthly rent. The lease is a 12-month agreement, and after the first year, it transitions to a month-to-month arrangement.
Meal plans are available at Gordon Oaks but are not automatically included with our apartment-style independent living options. Depending on your leasing agreement, you can choose to add a meal plan for an additional cost. While our apartments provide full kitchens, giving you the flexibility to cook your own meals, we understand that some residents may prefer the convenience of having meals prepared for them. If that sounds like you, we’d be happy to help you explore meal plan options that can suit your needs and preferences.
